Dr. Hans Bjellum
Graduating from UND in 1997 with a medical degree, Dr. Bjellum has been practicing medicine throughout Minnesota and North Dakota for over 20 years!
He moved to Fargo in 2008 to help open and operate the successful 7-Day Clinics. In 2017, Essentia purchased the 7-Day Clinics and Dr. Bjellum worked there up until the beginning of 2022. Dec

He moved to Fargo in 2008 to help open and operate the successful 7-Day Clinics. In 2017, Essentia purchased the 7-Day Clinics and Dr. Bjellum worked there up until the beginning of 2022. Deciding to part ways with big corporate healthcare systems, he opened the doors to Nordic Family Medicine in August of 2022!
Karl E. Bjellum, MSN, RN, PHN - Vice President
Karl was born and raised in the Dakotas. After completing college, he started his healthcare career at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester MN. He also served in the Air Force National Guard as a Flight Nurse, he served two tours in the Middle East. He then transferred to the Army Reserve as an Operating Room Nurse to finish his 12 year mili
Karl was born and raised in the Dakotas. After completing college, he started his healthcare career at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester MN. He also served in the Air Force National Guard as a Flight Nurse, he served two tours in the Middle East. He then transferred to the Army Reserve as an Operating Room Nurse to finish his 12 year military career with the rank of Captain. After 28 years at Mayo Clinic, serving 15 years in Nursing Leadership, he decided to take an early retirement and became partners with his brother at Nordic Family Medicine. Karl's interests include: Men's Health, Family Medicine, Aesthetics, VA Disability Advocate, Veteran Mental Health and Well-being.
Nick Haffley - Medical Assistant
Nick is originally from Hutchinson, Minnesota where he played basketball and golf throughout high school. He then when on to graduate from NDSU with a degree in biology. From there he worked at a local hospital as a CNA. His ambition and interest in healthcare has made him a great asset to Nordic!
